I started experimenting with cameras in 2015--before that, actually, but ever since my father got a DSLR, I knew I wanted to do photography. Something fascinated me--about how you could capture reality and create something beautiful from it. Like telling a story of something as small as the red leaf on the sidewalk.
And that's what I'm doing today. I've learned how important it is to remember the small things that make life beautiful. Capturing them in pictures is one way to do that. As I say below, stories mean a lot to me, and while I love writing, visualizing is a key part of writing. Without vision, stories are lifeless--and photography is a wonderful way to capture a creative vision, which is why I do portrait photography.
Portraits catch the wisp of a moment--the shape of a feeling--the essence of something beautiful--before it vanishes. It moves through time. Creating visions inspires me--and I hope it'll inspire you, too.

1. I can't live without Jesus. He's the reason I can live the way I do today and everything I do is for him. I hope that I'll be able to show you, my church family, the lady down the street, the cashier at Walgreens, how much he loves you.
2. I love people! There's almost nothing that makes me happier than meeting someone new. I can't wait to meet you, too. Also, I talk. A lot.
3. I'm a storyteller. Photography is one way to tell a story, writing is another. I've done NaNoWriMo for two years. If you like books or writing related subject please talk to me about it! I LOVE meeting fellow book enthusiasts and writers. In fact, I hope to form an Artist Society here in Chattanooga.
4. You can find me daydreaming about cats (I don't own one), dancing in the rain, cooking something chocolate, watching Ghibli movies, bullet journaling, or jamming to K-pop/Irish music.
5. Running=awesome. I've been running for two years. My favorite run was at Moccasin Bend: early in the morning, fall, cold. We saw two deer. I beat my last race time.
6. Creative photoshoots are my favorite! A person's story is obviously the best story there is, so why not add yours to your photos? Let's not just take pictures. Let's make art! Even adding something personal like a favorite color or doing a favorite location--those are all ways to make a photoshoot uniquely yours. And I'm excited to help.
Q&A
How do I book a session with you?
I'mso happy you asked! Be sure to fill out the form here or contact me on Instagram. Please have a date in mind for your photoshoot--if we have that, we can get down to the fun stuff like planning personal details, style, props and locations!
My favorite part of every photoshoot is getting to know you and figuring out how to make your session special. Make sure you tell me about stuff you like too! I want to know about your Harry Potter obsession, cotton candy enthusiasm, favorite country artist or TV show or Marvel character.
What kind of photoshoots do you offer? Great question! You can find a list of options on the Contact page. Just select one and DM me your choice! (Sorry the "check out" option doesn't work right now. I'm still refining the sales options).
